The plan was to have an easy day stopping at Wolseley for shopping and lunch which we did. We then pass theough Rugely and Armitage, which merge into one and is very slow progress due to moored boats and shallow water, so we didn't get to the top of Fradley Junction until 18:00 and guess what... being late there were no moorings so we had no choice but to go through Fradley Junction (7 locks) and moor at the other side, by which time it was 19:15. Longer day than expected.
