Moved to the water and pump-out point at 09:15. Pumped the tank out, but still the in-board pump was still not working.....so....started to dismantle the pipework and pump. Found a piece of grit in both the inlet and outlet valves, so cleaned and reassembled and it is now working. Left the water point at 11:20 and made steady progress to the first flight of five locks at Adderley then down the 12 locks into Audlem arriving at 16:20. We are moored between locks 12 and 13 about 50 yards from two pubs and a craft centre. Went to the Bridge Inn for dinner, both have live music on tonight, but cannot hear it yet. Niamh saw a Moorhen feeding her chicks on the nest, a Rabbit being chased by a Mink and a rabbit swim across the canal and get out at the other side (see pictures) and bought some cakes from the stall next to the locks with a honesty box.
